Re: St 180 fuel gauge stopped working

I managed to get a fuel pump assembly unit for R3500. I fitted it myself and all is working again. Strange as car only has 46 000km on the clocks

St 180 fuel gauge stopped working

My 2014 Fiesta ST has 44 000 km on the clock. Last week I got into the car only to find the fuel gauge is showing completely empty. Also the distance to empty and average consumption shows 0. Car starts and drives fine. I filled the tank as well. I checked all fusses and even pulled the whole pump a...

Re: FIESTA/FIGO engine

You should be able to get after market parts. If you can take a sample with you then go to any Midas or Autozone or similar place.

Re: Fiesta Questions Please Help?

The 2008 Ford Fiesta 1.4 is basically the same car as the now discontinued old shape Ford Figo. Very good little cars with no real issues , obviously depending on the cars history and how well it was maintained. Servicing and spares are reasonable and readily available at most auto spares shops , eg...

Re: Fiesta Titanium 2010

You can not reset the distance to empty display. The car works out how far you can drive with what fuel you have in the tank. Your driving style will also have an effect on that reading. If you drive aggressively the distance to go drops quickly. If you then slow down and drive more calmly the dista...

Re: Ford Figo - Should I keep it

Keep the Figo. Its paid for and doesn't give you problems. Theres no recalls on the Figo. As far as I know. You can do a few mods just to keep it fresh. It wont be the fastest around but its paid for and does NOT give you problems.

Re: Faulty heated seat (driver side)

I suppose it could be the element but I doubt it. Your Ford dealer should be able to pin point the fault for you aswell.

Re: Faulty heated seat (driver side)

Check for a blown fuse and check the plug underneath the seat is plugged in properly with no damaged cables. The plug can sometimes be exposed and a rear seat passenger may kick it under the seat.
