Karter CAI

Postby piranha786 » Sat Jun 04, 2016 11:27 pm

I have the full Karter CAI in my ST250

Lately when pulling away, I hear this sqeeking noise. I'm not sure whether its just the air that is sucked in that makes the sound, or the airfilter that touch the airbox a bit.

It's kinda annoying. Any1 that has the same experiece?
I'm thinking of putting the stock intake back to try finding the culprit.

Check the top intake pipe that it isn't touching anywhere.

Otherwise give Karter a call and one of the guys will have a look for you.

No idea what small tube you are talking about. It mustn't touch the HPFP but there is usually loads of space between the pipe and the pump. That is the only tube I can think of.
