Worked on this baby today
Sinister Intake and full Exhuast done
Stock: 137kw 280nm
Sinister intake and full exhuast: 155kw 328nm
Gains of 18kw and 48nm on just intake and exhuast
Then we did a stage 2 file and gained an extra 38nn
(No adaption time and no cooling off period)

Looking good. Graphs also look good, nice and stable.
Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.

Those are awesome gains. How did the car lose 2wkw with a file?

Are you saying the software caused the 2kw loss?
You know every run will never be the same?

Re: Fiesta ST180 build today!
Yes i can construe that every run will be different. You are not understanding the prerogative of what im trying to say.
If i run my car on a dyno run after a run, there is a chance it will lose a kw or 2 on the 2nd run. But after loading a stage 2 file the car should pick up more power. Im sure they will log and find out whats the issue is at hand. My bud here in durban also had an issue with his car as it was not picking up power with a flash.

by studying the graphs - you can see the one run made 154.x @ 51xxrpm.
While the 2nd run made 152.x @ 53xxrpm.
so made better power higher in the range with a great nm gain.
how fast you hit the wall (kw) is not always more important than how far you through the wall (nm)

Re: Fiesta ST180 build today!
Old post but a bit misleading - should read intake + exhaust + tune. No chance do you get a peaky dollop of 48nm extra at 3300rpm without more boost. The factory intake and exhaust are not restricting anything at 3300rpm airflow levels.
