On a stick ST250 what would be the power gain of the K16 vs K04, just asking for a best guess estimate? And other benefits of the K16 over K04, if any?

A stock block would be your limiting factor with a K16.
The K16 can flow the same as a K04 at much less boost/strain, so there is a reliability factor.
The KO4 at a stretch can make similar power to a K16 on a moderate tune but will not last very long.

On a pump fuel conservative tune, i would imagine a k16 to make probably 30kw more than a ko4, all else being equal.

The K16 is a big step up from a K04. So gains will be big provided you can tune it on the new 4-cylinder engine in a ST250. K16 flows a lot more than a k04 for a given boost level, the first thing you may find is your fueling would need to be worked out properly lest you want to run lean

forgive me in assuming wrong here...

but i wouldnt use an ST k04 on a ST250 seeing as the motor is direct injection and the ST k04 is a low pressure turbo..

a k04 comparable to the vag K04s which is a high pressure turbo..would be the better type of turbo to go for on the ST250..

Do you need to change the oil and water line with this upgrade?
Or will the stock lines work?
