Speaker size

hi all

i just want to find out what are the speakers sizes for the front and rear aswell as tweeters in the front doors?
and will i be able to go bigger or should it remain the stock size becuase of space.

6.5" Split System should work..

6.5 inch in the front and 5.25 inch in the rear if memory serves.

Tweeters by any manufacturer will fit as they are more or less all the same size I think.

This is for 225 ST.

Front is def 6.5". Can anyone confirm the sizes for the rear?

googled everywhere now for the rear spec but no luck
front is def 6.5 yes

Fronts 6.5
Rears 5.25
This was on the 3 door, not sure if its the same on the 5 door.
Bear in mind the speaker and spacer is a complete unit, if you plan on using mdf for spacers then you should be able to fit 6.5's all round.
You can also cut the speaker out (if you have no plans to use it again) and fit the new speaker onto the spacer, the rear's a bit of a tight fit but you can fit a 6.5 in there.

Wonder if it is worth it to replace the rear speakers when installing high end front split - I am planning to install a nice set of splits in the front and fade the stock rears a little, just for that bit of rear fill, but this is in my 3 door ST.
