Postby Rekles1 » Wed Feb 15, 2017 7:45 pm

Hi gents

Where can I fit my sub and amplifier in my car without having to cause issues to my car warranty?

Where about are you based? As long as your installation is done by a reputable sound dealer you should be fine. Also, make sure they don't cut any wires.

Does the head need a converter to allow connection to an amp then sub or can one run it straight from the radio to the amp?

Some of the new higher end amps have a built in high to low converter so you can pick up a signal from one of the speakers.

On the facelift focus ST, the sound symposer plays through the speakers. I would suggest taking it to a reputable sound shop so you don't end up having that frequency played through the sub.

Good luck

Thanks gents. I have a reverse camera that connects to the same display, surely there must be an RCA out
