No shudder. A minor minor vibration. Very minor. Makes a humming noise.

Did those that skimmed tell you how much they took off? Could be that they didn't take much off.

When you put new pads in, did you give them a few km's to bed in? Being hard on new pads, depending on brand can "glaze" the pads.

Hi Jono

They didn't say.

These are the pads you supplied. Weren't hard on them for about 3 days. So roughly 60km.
How do you know if they glazed?

Usually when that happens the cause is pads that run too hot and it overheats the disc hence the discoloration of the disc.

What pads did you fit?

Buy better pads, they operate better at higher temps and they keep their performance.
The discoloration is not critical, it just shows that the discs don't like the pads, you will feel that your brakes will get weaker as you use them more during one spirited driving session.

First Ive seen this, I have a lot of guys using these pads, haven't had a comeback yet.

I'm way too hard on brakes so Deselra doesn't work for me, I've only seen this when pads are new and you brake too hard.

If there is no shudder and your brakes are working fine, I would suggest monitoring them and decide from there.

Give me a call anytime.

Hey Jono. What pads would you recommend for the ST250? I only got 18k on my last set of front pads and it's time to replace

Its your budget that decides. You can get replacement pads (Deselra) or Upgrade pads (EBC) from Green stuff to Yellow stuff.

With EBC pads I would recommend upgrading your discs.
