Yeah, calling them crap is really ****. They wear fast but they grip amazingly.

F1's are good tyres. I have my second set on the car now.
1st set got 65k kms. 2nd set on 38k and still have about 4,5 to 5 mm on the tyres all round.
I also rotate every 10k kms to ensure even wear. Only problem with that is that when I have to replace I will have to replace all 4 at the same time again, which is a bit costly.

I've just taken delivery of a ST Focus 2010 model and the previous owner had these HiFly tyres fitted to front and back. Back look new but the fronts are not so good. As these tyres have hit the SA market fast and hard, any reviews as to how long they last on a ST. I need to replace the fronts but I'm not sure what to fit and I don't want to start another thread on which is the best tyre either.
Ii was at Supaquick yesterday when a container arrived from Goodyear and they were rolling out tyres called SAVVA. Probably competition to the Hi Fly as they were R 100 more expensive.

So what now......

Get Nexen SU4, great value for money. Grip is tops, even in wet, hardly any road noise. I have them on my A4, really impressed with them. Get them from Mintys Amalgam. Don't touch SAVVA
