Brakes and disc

Postby ReinhardCT » Mon Mar 05, 2018 1:56 pm

Hi Guys

When my car was serviced by Ford they said I need to do my brakes and discs, as they don't skim discs on the ST. Is this really necessary?
I would think that skimming the disc and just replacing the pads would be good enough?

Second question, what pads are you guys running on your FOSTs?

Any places you recommend in Bellville/Durbanville?

Thanks in advance!

Skimming once is fine if the disc is within spec after the skim. I sell new discs and Ferodo pads in Cape Town.

Thanks for the post. I have done the front discs and pads together, so time to do the rear ones.
