Although FordSTOwnersSA is reasonably relaxed about the content of posts there are a few basic rules which are stipulated to help ensure that people get the best use out of the website.

No bad language or swearing: We encourage you to use the Forum here to debate topics, but please use proper adjectives to express yourself. We do not tolerate circumvention of our word filter

No Personal attacks: FordSTOwnersSA is a friendly community of enthusiasts and such posts will be deleted on sight and users moderated accordingly.

No Offensive or Abusive posts: While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Posts that are considered to be socially offensive or abusive in nature whether to an individual or the list as a whole will not be tolerated. Our decision is final in these matters

No illegal activities: Specifically, discussion of any activity that may be considered illegal. For example, this includes breaking copyright on software or documentation, or the distribution of such material by posting links to Warez, cracks, music files etc.

Posts in a particular forum should stay on topic: Use a title that describes the content of your post. Don't use all caps or special characters to draw attention. If you want to talk about something that is drastically removed from the topic of a forum, please take it to Off Topic Forum, where there are no constraints

FordSTOwnersSA is not a support forum for Affiliates: While it may be used for comparing, judging the content/ value of affiliate products and services, we do not allow FordSTOwnersSA to be used as the primary means for bad mouthing (or victimizing) or for negative discussion. All issues should be resolved in private with an Affiliate.

No Libellous posts: If you believe you have received a bad product or bad service, having initially raised the issue with the Company or individual concerned, ensure that only a fully factual account is posted to the forum.

No spamming: Spamming is characterized by the initiation of threads or posts that contribute nothing to a forum, be it off topic or on topic. Examples include: empty bodies, bodies with few words that have no relation to the current thread or discussion and those posts that state they are spam, either to annoy, advertise or increase a member's post count.

Bumping Threads: Resurrecting old forum posts is also not appreciated unless it serves a worthy cause to the forum. This determination is made by the forum Moderator or Administrator and obvious abuse will result in threads being removed.

No Graphic Material: Of either a macabre or pornographic nature.

No Avatar Abuse: Abuse of Avatars will result in them being lost and your account being restricted.

No BBCode Abuse: Although available for use abuse of BBCode them will result in them being lost and your account being restricted. Examples include. Posts all in bold or underlined or caps. This also includes trying to bypass the censored word filter.

FordSTOwnersSA requires that members respect the final decision of moderators: Threads and posts questioning the actions or final decisions of forum moderators will be deleted. As a member you have the right to email me Boinkers@FordSTOwnersSA.co.za

No alternate accounts are allowed: Should you be disciplined with a restriction or ban, you are not allowed to open a new account to obtain freedom to post. Restrictions and bans are given for a reason, and usurping that ability by re-registering is not tolerated. If another account is opened, that account will be banned immediately.

No Advertising without approval: No advertising is allowed without permission from either me or the moderators. If you do post an advert without approval it will be deleted.

Private Messaging: The above rules where applicable also apply to private messaging. Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings and/or the disabling of private messaging.

"I Quit": If you post an "I Quit" post your account will be locked down ASAP as well as the "I Quit" post, you will be stopped from posting. You will be given a 48 hour cool down period, at which time you can e-mail any mod if you changed your mind. If no response is received within the 48 hours the account will be permanently deleting. No amount of begging will allow it to be reopened after the 48 hours.

We reserve the right to remove any offensive posts without notice.

We also reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the forum rules. We also reserve the right to ammend these rules as see fit
