Maybe check your N75 valve, boost leask, and actuator settings!! Maybe the actuator is wrong for mod X!!

There was a boost leak once but we fixed it and did a boost leak test straight after and the problem was still the same thing.
Actuator too tight or too loose?
Havnt touched my actuator since I got the new turbo.

IF your throttle closes there is a lack of air, Remove your filter totally and do a run and see, also do a log. Tahe your intake of all the way to the TC intake and check for anyting loose or a pipe that may be collapsing under WOT initial suction (sudden large velocity increase) Maybe the map could also be feeding a lot of timing(or delaying retardation) and your knock sensor is acting up. Try connecting an oscilloscope to the knock sensor or bridge it open and see if that helps,,,otherwise I am out of ideas as well....

When you say "take your intake off all the way to the TC intake", what's TC?
When you say pipes are you referring to before the turbo or after?
Dunno if Ford can do that test with the knock sensors and I'm not clued up with that type of stuff

Turbo Charger! and Before the Turbo, The Focus have two knock sensors and one of them may be over eager, but that should show on your logs

Knock shows -8.5 at that point.
Think pretty much what STock is also getting
My knock never goes above -9.5deg anywhere in the rev range

can you somehow send me the airflow plot at full throttle, through the problem range and to redline? I have a hunch but do not wanna go out on a limb here before looking at the massflow

Please PM me your e-mail address Leon. I'll send you the whole log and can plot it.

I loaded Mod X back tonight and immediately absolute throttle position went from 86.7% down to 32%.
With DSCI it drops at most 1% but throughout the rev range which Corbad said that's normal.

Also Leon, if the pipes were collapsing under suction wouldn't the other maps also close throttle??? Yes/no/maybe? :?

Update:

Thanks Bloubul7 for the logs. If I'm correct in seeing your logs, your throttle also does the same as mine. Yours actually goes from 85% down to 29%. And I see its also intermittent. I spent 1/2 hour last night going through it.

STock, need to log with you buddy so I can see if your car does the same.

Anybody else with Mod X want to do logs with me so I can see if it also does the same. Pre-facelift or facelift.

I did it last night and have no issues that I can feel or see.

Will do a log and see if it shows up there, but which parms must I log?
