new dream science software

Hi guys ,

I have just bought a dsf3000 unit with the following maps;
1. performace plus
2. race plus
3.mod a
4. mod b
5. mod c95

i have on my car st 225 , decat, std zorst , mr turbo cooler, custom cai and hot side stainless steal boost pipe. car running very strong with only these mods and now ive loaded dsci and am running the mod c95 map... is this the best map? for now or should i upgrade to a custom map or mod x?

stick with mod c95 bud

modx pulls too much timing for an everyday drive

that's about the best you can do with the dsf. or maybe trackracer. modx doesn't work on the dsf.

Guys i'm running modX on everyday basis. How much timing pull are you guys talking about?

Mod-X pulls about 8 to 9 degrees

I pulled about -11 degrees... got worse with bad batches of fuel

What will the effect be of too much timing pull? @ Pdubs, how much will a custom map set you back? And also what is the use of ModX if it pulls so much timing?

Pricing is available from Shaun. If your safety parameters are intact (like all DS maps) the ecu will pull timing when knock is detected. The ECU can only pull back up to a certain amount. Mod-x will obviously perform much better with better quality fuel but if you don't have, it is still safe for the car.

Timing pull will be less but you will have to check AFR's though.
