ok so on Saturday Jacque ST and I went to try sort out his zorst system , we fitted the SWR branch and did a few tweaks to the rest of the system and all I can say is WOW  I test drove the car and its low down torque to midrange is very very strong - I later had a race with him while I was on my sluggish map that I raced the corsa opc with and he pulls me quicker than the opc did so I can see the few tweaks have helped - thanks Steve for all the assistance also :smt023. Now that Ive help sort out everyone elses car I hope I can get mine to run again :?

Hi Stu
Glad you guys are happy!

Nice and strong at bottom!!
Unfortunately you wont see gains of exhaust at top end of rev range until mapped.

I am hoping to come up to jo'burg later this week,to buy Fiesta ST,and then i can meet everyone!
Thanks for helping Gerhard!
Cheers
Steve

What diameter is u'r exhaust manufolf? I'm thinking convincing my mate to put it on, but he wants to keep he's stock system. He's not keen on the noise level increase. Also do u have anyone that wants to upgrade to a manufold and wanting to sell their flexi pipes? Could I just add the flexi pipe to and stock exhaust?

Last question. When I bought my ST in 2005, I worked in the UK and I brought home a set of Cossie fast road cams. When I told them I stay in SA they said ok so altitude was a problem but also tha SA got de-tuned version ie 110kw. Only from the facelift the upped the rated power to 112kw. which is the same as the UK 1's.

Which 1 did u do u'r development on?

The old software was more accepting when it came to mods. The pre 2005 software responded very well to induction cam's and exhaust, where as the face lift had a different setup of software. once updated u would have felt a little diff, but it doesn't respond as well to upgrades, wondering why?
