Need a Show of Hands - SC Kit

Postby Stu » Tue Oct 06, 2009 6:53 am

ok so after much debate with Duigan brothers on Saturday I decided to put a list togeather of those that would be interested in getting the SC kit, obviously the more peeps the order the cheaper we could get the shipping cost and hopefully duties down.... We are looking to purchase about July/Aug next year..... We have a decent price so far and it includes the following..

1- C30-94 Charger
2- Charger pulley - you get a choice of pulley that you would like to use depending on the boost you looking to run
3- Oil housing and filter
4- Oil pipe lines
5- Oil for the Charger

We will then be looking at getting tiny oil coolers, a custom bolt on IC, pipes and bracket made up locally for the boys at a fair price and as its bulk we hope to get this cost down also a bulk injector buy

Duigan will also be bringing in a DS SC map from the UK that will be available for the guys running either the 55mm or 60mm throttle bodies or those that are looking to run ITB's like me that can also be arranged.

Ok so I need a show of hands of those that would possibly be interested in this kit next year July/August - gives you time to save

So far the list is as follows :

1- Stu
2- Drifter
3- Venom
4- JacqueST
5- CalMul
6- BooST
Polo20vBIGT
Kia Sportage
Rustler Bakkie
507 Edition C63 - The Dragon
Nissan GTR - The Ninja ( on Its way )

Just as a matter of interest I spoke to the guys at Duigan and Francois told me the kit would be abour 20k. I know you putting the list together but before I sign up can I just ask how much we looking at for the kit? I know the kit from Pumaspeed in the UK is some ridiculous price so if I can get away with the kit for cheaper then you can count me in. When I spoke to Francois and Shaun they said they kit would be making around 180kW. I don't know if that figure is right I spoke to them a while ago but if that figure is in the right place then damn well count me in!

we arranged a group buy so the cost is lower Max for the Charger kit landed is about R17 000 thats shipping tax etc best price is about R15 000 but that depends on orders and exchange rate and duties...

you will still need the IC,DV, pipes , cooler, belt , injectors, map and some other little odds and ends... Hopefully we can keep the entire cost for the mod down to about R25 000 but thats an estimate at the moment give or take a few grand and labour

power on the stock intake manifold is between 250-280bhp depending on setup, guys with cams and other bits could possibly hit close to the 320bhp mark - this is figures at the wheels - we cant really tell how much power untill its done and mapped

Ok that sounds like a plan then. I don't want to put my name on the list cause of course budget may prevent me from getting there but I'm interest and one way or another I'm gonna get one it may take a bit longer but I'm in. Just as a matter of interest are the guys at D.B gonna offer a limited slip diff with the charger cuase I have a small feeling you gonna need one with that much power at hand... or foot.

What Charger you looking at? Link? instead of running a cooler you can inject Tulol straight into the blower intake!!
