Fiesta ST150 Under Drive Pulley (UDP) Wanted

Postby Ben » Thu Jan 28, 2016 2:58 pm

Have anyone here fitted a MJR Auto under drive pulley kit?

They locally manufacture them down in P.E.

If fitted, what was the result?

So by the way, what's the benefit of this? And price?

Not worth it in the sense that our cars have weaker gearboxes and a lighter udp means it drops its revs quicker if u fail to change fast enuf in the respective rev range. On a small capacity motor underdrive pulleys are not cool. There's a reason cars come with a specified weighty pulley.

The benefits I noticed when I ran mine were

1) better fuel consumption
2) better throttle response as it revs quicker
3) gained 7.2whp and 11nm at the wheels at KAR dyno
4) over all just felt like a better drive
