ST150: Ozzie DIY intake

Postby rositano » Fri Apr 15, 2016 1:35 pm

Hey all,

Greetings from Oz once again. I know you've all been through this phase many years ago...please excuse my enthusiasm :D
I've only had my st150 for 6 months or so. I've installed Steve's swr 4-2-1 branch, Bluefin stage 2, rear engine mount and am currently tweaking my intake. Thought I'd just share a few pics of my DIY intake with twin air feed intake. Trying to get the best of both worlds; SRI and CAI.

I know it's not the biggest mod, but it's taken me long enough to get it done.....gets me in the garage away from the wife and kids I guess! :D

Still in progress. I might eventually replace the PVC pipe and bends with a flexible pipe with smooth in inner surface.

Had a feeling you'd be the first to reply. :D

True though! This is mach 1. The bottom section with the 3 PVC bends I'll eventually replace with some flexible hose/pipe. The key is to find something with a smooth inner surface.....mach 2.
