Ford Approved and Fitted Performance Modifications
My apologies if this has been brought up previously! I cannot understand Ford South Africa's approach to this subject when Ford in the UK and possibly also Australia allow Mountune kits to be added to Fists via their Dealer networks..
Recently the Motoring Editor of our local Daily - Denis Droppa writing in the Cape Times Motoring supplement said that Ford had approved the fitment of LAZperformance kits to Fists. This I had confirmed by Kevin at the same organisation. But, now try and get a comment from Ford S.A...
Tried telephonically and via email! At the time we bought our current Fist from a Dealer in Cape Town the D.P. there knew nothing about it and neither did our local Southern Suburbs D.P. and both agreed it could be a source of additional revenue!
If anybody can shed some more light on this I would really appreciate it..!

To my knowledge it has all been approved and the national roll out is or has already commenced in terms of informing all dealerships.
This can be added to the car when purchasing it or added after through Laz Performance.
If you want me to put you in contact with them just PM me.

As far as I know, the warranty is then covered by Lazperformance and not Ford SA

Thanks! I paid a visit to the Local Dealer and the Service Manager said he was sending a Technician for training - so the word is slowly getting out!
