Postby Focus88Fanatic » Mon Nov 07, 2016 1:52 pm

Hey All,

Time has come for some new tyres on the FiST and i want to try out the PS3s, but my contact has no stock.
Where else in the boksburg, sandton, fourways areas can i get a set of these for a decent price?

Thanks in advance!

are you only looking for PS3's?

I had PS3's on my M and recently replaced them with Toyo Proxies T1Sport. The Toyo's are very very nice, loads of grip and nicely priced... if you dont come right with the PS3's, may i suggest looking into the Toyo's from Minty's in sandton, they may surprise you.

R917 per tyre, grip and feel is excellent!!! also ride is a bit more forgiving as they are not run flats like the bridgestones. As for wear, only time will tell only have them fiited for a month so far

Sorry to high jack the Thread.
I ould just like to get some opinions. So i drive a FWD car.

Would jy say it is better to Rotate tyres(every 10k km) and replace all four when the time comes?

Or

Just drive them till they are dead and replace 2 at a time?
Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.

hey, where did you find Falken FK453's for that price.
I can only Find ZE914's but the reviews show FK453's are better.

I saw the reviews on tyrereviews.co.uk
I took them with a pinch of salt, mainly because of the cars specified.
I went further and read some reviews of forums like pistonheads.
ZE914 seems more like a everyday passenger tyre, FK453 is an ultra performance tyre.

I do spirited driving quite often. I drive a newly tared back road everyday with some nice bends, I can't help but to go around corners fast.
So I'm looking for an ultra performance tyre. I currently have Potenza RE002s

Bridgestone Cape Town have no stock on my size tyres.

I need to replace the tyres soon, so worse case I can't find a proper tyre I'll buy the ZE914s just for the time being.

Do you have perhaps any recommendations?

that question is answered by the weight of your wallet

If you wanna fork our for two tyres every now and then you should only rotate the day you buy two new tyres for the back of your car

Makes the hurt much less in the long run
