Work started on getting rezlo's old track car setup into tigger.

The cuts are rough and not final - lots of neatening up to do.

So the intercooler has its own brackets at the bottom, and is part of the front structure, which will reduce the risk of that top section moving around at high speed (the hood clips will still be used anyways)

may just get away with fitting this awesome setup. engine just needs to go a bit more back. and the fans need to be very slim. but looking good so far.

lights fit on nicely aswell so working well. tried to move it as far forward as possible.

The branch manifold:

Good
1. The brake booster will be able to fit now.
2. The master cylinder for the clutch will fit now.
3. Lots of room in the bay with this unit.
4. Manifold fits the pitch of bolts well.
Not so good
1. In order for the manifold to fit: remove the thermostat housing, that is not a problem I can redirect the flow with a modification. Had to remove the wiring harness bracket, no problem.
2. I had to remove the lower row of studs, the manifold was fouling up on the bolts and it could not sit flush. No problem can get shorter studs and it will work.
3. Modifications must be made to the dump valve pipe extension, no problem this can be done. The one problem when the turbo is fitted we have a fouling condition, the electrical box must move out of the way. The turbo will sit close to the firewall.
4. The turbo needs more room, the fuse box must move out.
