Thanks Guys, Jip Blessed, also hoping to get it done soon.

@ Capri
- Bought in October 2009
- Started engine swap in December 2013 (so it will be two years in Dec 2015)

The longish timeline, has been due to
- Parts prices, had to source some rare parts that also took some time
- Undoing alot of the initial bad work, which was limited to the engine bay gladly

Wanted to say it is taking long... But yeh, undoing previous "mods" is a time consuming job!

This weekend the front suspension striping started, which was a good move, the front wheel bearings needed to be changed (i will post the part numbers)

Did the final adjustment on the mounts, the block mounts are changing slightly as the adjustment on the ones which i bought was maxed out.

heres an idea of the engine position
- you cannot go any further back without cutting the firewall, and on the s14 that involves the relocation of many many critical items. ive got good clearance for the lines and the swaybar now. cannot believe how far off these mounts were, at least it was a decent starting point, the gearbox mount was 40mm too low :shock:

So I decided to change turbos. More of an opportunistic move. went from the s366 to a 6466 about the same power with just a bit more spool. kind of regret the s366 as it was a very unique setup they way it ended up. but anyways

this is it still boxed haven't test fitted it as yet.

I also decided to get rid of the r154 Supra gearbox, was also a sad moment because of the thought that went into that setup.

Anyways decided to go the 6spd route with a 370z box lets us hope that the box holds the power. it should shift a lot smoother and quicker. I needed it as the ECU will do flat shifting and rev matching

so this is a picture of the setup together. the box barely fits in the sx chassis and will require some bracing. its a very very big box.

As one can see I need to get a new flywheel machined and the clutches resplined for it to work with my tilton setup.
