It is truely very well done, great job.

I have some questions / suggestions :

What about the cooling of the amp? Don't you think it might over heat being hidden away under everything and not get proper ventilation? This has been my personal biggest fear when installing an amp so hidden away.

Then, I have found that the amps do not last as long when you connect them to the sub box. The vibration of the box seem to have a negative effect on the contactors etc. inside the amp. Maybe you should consider a nice platform for it, loose and away from the sub.

Thanks, I will look into it. Space is becoming a major issue. I can maybe mount the amp against the seat and take it out from underneath the cover. That should resolve both issues.

Everything cost just over R6k.

I used the Rockford PBR300x1 amp and the Rockford P3S2D-8 Subwoofer. The wiring kit was about R900, materials for the box about R300. I did the whole installation myself so no labour charges accounted for.

Installed the 63mm Elevate boost pipe at Deon. The pipe looks awesome and the quality is second to none.

Did a couple of logs on the way home, flowing around 260g/s on pump fuel and 1.1 bar boost.

Also bought a RS Maf & Map. Will get them fitted as soon as I can get my hands on a RS RIP pipe

Thanks dude. It will look much beter once it is fully completed. Loving the fact that I manage retain the full boot space and still got some decent bass out of it.
