Re: Another RS turbo upgrade
Hi guys, just thought an update is in order.
Had the car for a week now and it is awsome
The clutch is a bit hard to get used to (its an on/off button type)
and the car really takes of if you give it even half throttle.
Next on the to do list is the IC piping and a new intake but for now it will have to stay as is.
Hopefully I will get some video and audio soon so I can post the results of all this cash lol.

Re: Another RS turbo upgrade
very nice buddy. Start up must have been an awesome feeling!
Just an observation, if you get the rs ecu mount, wouldnt it be possible to turn the induction towards the the left headlight, just by rotating the silicone hose on the maf?? the filter would sit away from the engine? i think it would help alot.It looks like it is possible on the pic you posted? maybe you have tried this?

I'm trying to sorce a second hand simota at the moment

Might have a think and see.
Thanks all

then I see this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-FOCUS-RS ... 1e6abeb8b2
Never available when I'm shopping

Anyway things to report:
Had serious boost issues and fried my nice paddle clutch a couple of times due to the strange way boost was comming in.
So I removed the symposer and the bailey DV and its all cleared up.
The clutch is still tricky but the car is heaps better now. I ordered the hard pipe kit, rs oilcooler and forge dv so I can add some reliability and push the car harder without fear of a hose comming loose etc.
After that I aim to get a CF bonnet with RS vents and the Ksport brake upgrade aswell as some lenso d1r rims in black.
cheers guys
