Our ST project.

Postby FrankyGTI » Sun May 19, 2013 4:53 pm

Always awesome working on our own car, been waiting ages to get the time to start with mods.

Before I start, on behalf of Ford, I would just like to apologize for the most ugliest engine ever to be produced.

KontrolFreakz will not be held responsible for depression, sleeplessness, involuntary vomiting, or anal leakage.. hahahahahaha!!

So we started on the induction side today, and a few hours later, we had it done..

The engine cover was removed, and after we all screamed in horror, we stripped out the stock intake and was left with this: (NOT FOR SENSITIVE VIEWERS)
Image

we cut up a bunch of mandrel bends and piping and tacked it all together to get the basic shape going.
Image

pipe was welded up and welds were polished out and fitted in its spot.
Image

Some brackets were added and the intake was spraypainted white, to go with the overall theme.
Image

needless to say, we were extremely happy to fit the engine cover back on, and after the cheers from the crowd died down, we were left with the end product.
Image

Car sounds amazing and goes like stink, can't wait for the new dyno figures.

well next up had to be a exhaust.. lol..

we pulled the car on a lift and started production

full 76mm 304 grade, high polished, mandrel, TIG welded, lifetime guaranteed stainless steel downpipe and exhaust was made...

sadly we didn't take loads of pics, but here is some.
