small update

Received the H beam rods today with the ARP 8740 rod bolts.

Image

Sent Flywheel Sample in for machining today. Should have a single mass FW ready with PP and clutch in the next 2 weeks.

Last parts I am waiting for will be the Pistons- I have ordered a set of 83mm x 23mm pin.

Still deciding if I should run a scavenge pump from the turbo drain or if I should let gravity do its thing. The drain becomes very long and difficult to route where the turbo is placed now.the drain will no longer drain to the stock drain either. that has been welded closed.

will provide more updates once I have made progress

hi Guys - Not much has gone on here as i have been waiting for some parts as well as i had other engine build and BT upgrades for clients to complete 1st.

Custom Wiseco pistons with side skirt technology have arrived - 23 mm pin vs the stock 21mm pin

Also, I have sold the GTX 3076R turbo which was fitted to another friends car and opted for the PT6262 Precision turbo. I have gone for this as the HP rating is a bit higher as well as it helps me move away from extra and unnecessary water feeds. That means 2 pipes less to worry about and 2 things less to go wrong

I have sent all the Parts in for balancing and clearance checks too. want to start assembly of the motor in the next week or 2

Sorry if I missed it somewhere in the thread but what are your intentions for this setup? Every day driver, top end runs, weekend toy? All of the above lol?

just for me bud - climb in , boost and SMILE -

no racing , no QM , No top ends - Looking for a 400 KW car that can be driven whenever i please with minimal maintenance

i do believe this will be achievable at 1.5 bar

awesome man, definitely think it is possible when you take racing out of the equation.

So far my car has been good to me besides a popped fuse. Good luck bud
