2005 Ford Focus 2.0 Engine needed

Postby JamesPatt » Tue Feb 06, 2018 2:42 pm

My girlfriend's Ford Focus has a bend conrod

The mechanic gave her a quote on a replacement engine and a full engine recon, both prices are higher than her budget.
What is her options? Is there any place she may be able to get a cheaper used engine?

Try Japan Auto Trading in Jet Park, Boston Jap Tech in Boksburg, John's Engine & Gearbox import in Boksburg.

Ford scrapyards: Forma Pta -W, Protech in Silverton. That Ford engine is based on the Mazda 2.0L LF engine, maybe the Mazda LF will fit without to much hazzles?
Current: 2010 Mazda 6 Active, 2002 Bantam B3 1300, 2010 Sirion 1.3.
Ex:Mazda 323s X 5 1026 000km & 626s X 3 515 000km & B2200 D/c 4X4 345 000km & Meteor GLi 1.6i 120 000km, BMW 528i X2 44 000 km

The Focus has a AODB engine but I am unable to find one

I have been offered a CJBA for R13K and a CJBB for R15k and a N4JB for R17K
Will any of these engine work? Are they direct replacement? What is the difference between them?
