Thanks mnr
The "before" was done on FR&R's dyno.
Made 104.6wkw and 359nm stock.
Made 122wkw and 420nm after FR&R.
Now 147.4wkw and 490nm at Kar after DP and RK Motion. Car pulls much smoother as well. Much more fun to drive plus all the safety features is in tack.

Update Time

So seeing as I make a lot more torque now, I needed new rear tyres sooner.
In Kuruman we pay a premium price for everything. I got a quote for two new Bridgestone Potenza RE050 RFT at R8k without alignment. I the city this would have been R6.5k for alles.

So I had to make a call. Elton did not make it much easier with his 403M wheels that was for sale.
It's awesome to be apart of a lekker tuning family. Kyle (Low Flyer)had a look at the wheels for me. Wife wanted to know everything is all good on them. Everything checked out good.
So I made the payment to Elton on friday, what a nice guy, and my father collected them on saturday.

They original 403M style BMW rims with Toyo tyres.

I need spacers now. But need to sort a few other bits on the car first. Want to do my damper pulley, Shocks with springs and gearbox service before year end.

Also sprayed my plastics. They supposed to be gloss black. But i sort them out in december with proper 2k paint. Can spray is ****! I set the standard very high for myself as this was how my parts normally looked on clients cars. According to me you will never ever get this type of results with can spray and polish. I like deep gloss black parts!

Excuse the crappy pics. Will take better pics this weekend when it's all cleaned. Also adding some RK motion stickers.

Fitted the Spacers. Fronts is 5mm and rear is 12mm.
My before and after pics looks real **** so I'm posted the rear ones only.

Fronts:

Rears:

Right side rear

After:

Left side rear

I also fitted the 4 boost housing seals on the boos pipes. I did not take any pics of that.

The came the fun part. Fitting meth to a BMW is **** baie work! Just ask Dewald(Bloubul) as he did most of the work! Thanks buddy you a Legend!
I went for a Universal Cool Boost Stage 2 Progressive kit. We wanted to play around with the nozzles to see what will work the best.
Opped of a CB5 nozzle in the end.

Image

Image

This is where I wanted my bottle and pump to be as i did not want to loose to much boot space.

Image

So we decided to get a Lion and some ply wood (dewald wanted to paint it as he wanted to make it look lekker behind the covers)

Image

Image

So it ended up looking like this at the end.

Image

Next up was to get the meth line all the way to the engine bay. So we stripped all the panels at the bottom of the car. Removed the front bumper to get to the cooler.

Image

Image

And you'll need something cold to help you focus.

Image

Dewald tapped the meth into the cold side on the cooler

Image

Image

He tapped for boost into the hot side of the cooler.

Image

Then we installed the non-return valve and the fault switch.

Image

Image

Vacuum line. Note its red in most of the pics. On the first run without meth the line popped off, so we took some cable ties as we could not found small enough clamps. Second try the line burst. So we bought a new line(blue one from XXX Centurion). Excuse how dirty the bay is.

Image

Image
[hr]
Next up was all the wires. We needed to check what wires needs to stay at the back and which of them needs to go to the front. Dewald busy with the schematic, **** load of wires!

Image

All tucked away

Image

Sticked down with double sided tape till I can make up my mind where I want to put it.

Image

Also have a on/off switch.

After everything was sorted on the car, we took it for a run without meth to check that everything is fine. After the two fail attempts it was time to open up the meth kit. Testing was done with water only.

Intake temps managed to drop from 40 degrees to 34 degrees in just 2 gears. So i was very happy as this was the main reason I went with a meth kit.

Before that run
Image

After the run
Image

And then Dewald filled her up and gave me some spare meth. Thanks buddy!

Image

We went to the dyno as well. Managed to gain 9wkw and 40nm with the meth turned on on the second run(no time to adapt)

I also did a service on the car. The following was changed:
5.2l Liqui Moly 4100 Oil
Oil Filter
Fuel Filter
Cabin Filter
Air Filter
Wipers.

Keithan did the stage 1 gearbox flash as well.
Now time for Stage 2 or 3 with new update file.

Thanks to all that helped me with the car! Really appreciated it

I have some extra goodies that's arriving today as well. 335i carbon diffuser, double din m4 style kidneys and air scoop vents.

Little bit of an update on my car.

Car went to Keithan last week Thursday.
WOW!
Keithan updated my file and gave me stage 2 gearbox file!
Once we started the car, you can hear that it sounded different, don't know how to explain, but it sounded flippen nice. Has a deep sound to it. Sounds lekker when it changes gears as well. Almost as if its a dsg that changes. Down shifts in Sport ahhh i cant stop. Will see if I can fit the gopro some time.
Keithan told me I must forget about consumption on the car, lol.
I filled up in Vryburg, had stop and go's, cruise control 130km/h. Car said 18.5km/l and pump said 19.3km/h. Last night when I pulled into my house, the car said 20.4km/h, so will be interesting to see what i got.
Car pulls strong for a little 2.0l!

I can't explain how happy I am that Keithan tunes my car!! Buddy thanks a lot for all your effort that you've put into my car! I really appreciate it!

Tried to get the colour on a camara

While i did the exhaust they saw my mounts is done. So i replaced them.

I cruised at 165km/h from Keithan last week thursday evening. This was what my computer said. Keep in mind that my computer said 18.5km/l and when i worked it out it came to 19.3km/l. So overall im very happy!

The white smoke will be because of the meth.
