Over rev when changing to second
Hi ST guys. Hope all is well. I have a figo runabout. When I change to second gear she over revs. While in first I leave the accelerator press the clutch and the revs start to climb to 3k. If I shift at 1.5 k or 3 k it doesn't do the over rev. I read that newer cars over rev to keep the cat warm. The car is still new.
Magic happens.

Its to protect the gearbox, but sounds like yours is overdoing it.
