Paint touch up on my RSi

Postby Assassin » Wed Oct 09, 2013 3:25 pm

I bought my Fiesta RSi from a car dealer in Centurion. Hoped he would have gotten some stuff sorted before I took the car, but no luck.

There is a nasty gash here and there and I need to touch it up before it goes into rusting mode with the rainy season coming up.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of someone that could possibly assist without having to repaint the whole car?

Thanx

Its very bad, looking at a 10mm gash right up tot the bare body of about 120mm long. Started rusting a bit even before I bought her, so need to touch it up asap. Will send picture asap.

That bumper section will be easily repairable with some grey filler primer and 2K paint and 2K clear that can even be mixed up for you into an easy to use spray can at most automotive paint shops.

As for the larger gash on the door or wherever, I'd suggest spraying some rust stop onto the area to prevent it from getting worse until you can touch it up properly.
