Poor Rsi brake lights

So as many of the RSi drivers know, our brake lights are pretty dull and do not emmit a very bright light. So I was thinking of going the LED route, the LED CRee types. They are very expensive but sure they will be brighter than our standard halogen bulbs.

Has anyone attempted this?

Dont buy the normal push and turn in types. As a LED is positive and neg sensitive. And the whole tail light is acrualy powered, with the earths doing the on/off part.
I bought LED brake globes before, and cant use them. Hell of a job aswell chabging polarity on the whole globe holder, as its the whole light
