Yeah i would really worry about that manifold, my old 1.4 blew its intake into pieces when it backfired on a cold morning, although that might be a bit more pressure than the turbo...

This build does look epic tho gonna keep a close eye goodluck

^^ This has also happened to my Bantam one morning. I call it a "front-fire".
I reckon it's a lot more pressure during a smaller time frame, because all that pressure had to escape through the tiny idle hole in the throttle body.
Plastic manifold should be fine for low boost, just check that you have a one way valve on your vacuum lines for the brakes etc.

personally I would of rather done this on a golf with an ABF in

Plastic intake will be fine . We had a boosted rocam which handled 0.6 /0.8 bars of daily driving .you gonna enjoy it robot to robot
