Re: My Ford Figo
Well as someone who is nearly completed a turbo conversion on a figo... and someone who knows the figo's very well...I can without a doubt say if u don't plan on keeping ur car for over 10 years and if you have no technical experience yourself... I'd say do nothing more than a drop and a nice set of takkies.... to get any real fun power out of a figo is going to cost you. You could easily spend R10k on free flow and re tune and u would still not be happy with its "performance" as I learned the hard way. Unless you plan on going forced induction and have R30k to play with I would honestly say don't bother..it's a lot of hassle...nice sound system and set of mags and nothing more... If you want power for a fair price... sell your figo and buy 2 litre fistST.... you could trade your car and get oke with decent km... and you will have better torque and power for basicly no cost.. just the trade in

Re: My Ford Figo
Agreed. Any mod on a 1.4 car does not make much of a difference, especially up here at the reef. Forced induction would be the best but with my experience and not even done yet, it is really REALLY expensive.
