Hi,

Im currently running 0.5 to 0.6 bar on stock pistons without a problem. The key is your tuning (timing). My compression was dropped through headwork

Forged pistons are hard to come by for the Rocam, you would have to have a set custom made.

I feel that 0.5 is perfect, I drive on 0.3 bar as an everyday day. On 0.3 bar it made 112wkw and 198nm.

See my project thread for some history

I would like toe know , i have a unichip installed on the bakki , can i use it for my turbo tuning if i add the unichip turbo module ? Would the chip be adequate for my aplication ? And what is the standard injector size on the rocam ?

Im not too familiar with UniChip but do know of some other people that have used them on turbocharging.

If I recall correctly the std injectors are 130cc or 170cc, I will have to go and check. But I can confirm that they are too small too use. Try looking for some 2nd hand ST225 injectors, they are direct fit.

So i have a question, the 1.6 rocam motor bore is 82mm but the closest forged piston i can find is a 85 mm so thats a 3mm oversize , my question is can i bore the block of the rocam that much to fit these pistons ? I realy want to turbo the bantam and boost a bit more than 07bar safely

Speak to Riaan Mk5 on the forum. He dropped my compression by removing some meat in the head. currently running 0.7 bar on stock pistons. Guessing it should be around 130wkw. Compression sitting around 820:1
