So I found the update file buried deep in the internet archives... Then I followed the instructions to run the update. First it didn't recognize the USB device then it worked on the 3rd or 4th attempt. Then while updating it said update failed after about 2 or 3 minutes.

So I tried again and it said updating, please wait.... It stayed like that for about 50minutes and just seemed stuck... Light on the USB wasn't flashing and the screen seemed stuck so I just switched off and stopped the update...

I'll try again tomorrow... Has anyone else had this problem?

Oh, I have a 2009 fiesta titanium...

TS.170 wrote:Does anybody else have problems using the USB. Mine regularly freezes or wont load. I have 3 different USB sticks with music on and its the same with all 3. One day it works , the next day not. The other day I had to disconnect my battery to reset everything. Also I have over 1500 songs on each USB but the car always shows 1024 songs only. Ive coppied them all using the same format but still only shows 1024 songs total on each USB. The USBS work fine on my DVD player in my home so its not the USBs. Any thoughts , comments .....

So i tried the update again and the result was the same as last time... It just doesn't seem to finish the update and it still doesn't always read the USB... actually it almost never reads the USB. It also hardly ever plays music from my phone via my bluetooth.

What else can I try?

I am currently having an issue with this.
It played when I got the car, not its saying device not supported.
How do I fix this?
